You close your Nov. 9 editorial with “Diamonds, of course, to the veterans all these events honor, and thank you.’


“And the coal? Sadly to goes again to the many people who did not attend a Veteran’s Day parade near you.”


I would suggest you add a diamond to one who did attend a Veteran’s Day parade near him. That would be the first U S president to attend the Veterans Day parade in New York City. That honor goes to President Donald J. Trump. No small event, and one that no other U.S. president could find time to attend.


Please honor him accordingly, not only for his attendance, but also for his keynote address to all.
